"I love my cat but...". There are some places that are just off limits to kitty! In the past, teaching them to stay out of or away from areas was next to impossible. But now, thanks to CatScram, training a cat to avoid areas has become possible.
The CatScram device is a humane, safe, and effective tool in deterring your cats from an area you do not want them in. It gives you peace of mind knowing your furniture, clothes, drapes, or a specific room will be protected even when you are not home. The CatScram can cover up to a 6-foot range when placed on the floor or on a flat surface and up to a 15-foot range when elevated or tilted 90 degrees. When your cat nears a protected area the CatScram’s motion detector will sense your cat and begin to release ultrasonic waves for 4 seconds to repel the cat. The sound is inaudible to humans and harmless to cats, it does not use any sprays or shocks. However, the cats find the sound uncomfortable which will train them to avoid the CatScram protected area.
CatScram Operation:
CatScram uses a 9-volt, alkaline battery (not included), or a power adapter (optional).
To verify the CatScram is working properly place your hand in the coverage area, you should see red L.E.D. flashes. We recommend using an adapter. Batteries can drain as quickly as a few days.
Does not work with all Cats. Hearing Impaired Cats:
White cats, by nature are hard of hearing and may not respond to this device. Some older &
exotic breads may also not respond.
